Terms of Service

These terms apply to every order placed on muroca.com. By placing an order you accept them.

2. Our products

We sell personalised pet portraits on canvas. Every portrait is made to order from a photo you supply.

3. How an order works

1. You choose a style and size and upload a photo of your pet.
2. You pay for the order.
3. We paint your portrait, print it on canvas and ship it to you.

Because your portrait is personalised, we begin work as soon as your order is placed.

4. The photo you upload

By uploading a photo you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you give us permission to use it to create, print and ship your portrait and to store it for as long as we need to handle your order and any complaint about it. You may not upload photos of other people's pets without their permission, or any content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse and refund an order if a photo is unusable or unsuitable.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in euro and include Belgian VAT. Shipping is free on every order. Payment is due in full at checkout, and your order is confirmed only once payment has been received.

6. Delivery

Shipping is free, with no minimum. Timings are in our Shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

7. Right of withdrawal

The 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (Article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). Our portraits are painted from your own photo and printed for your order alone, so this exclusion applies from the moment your order is confirmed. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described. See our Return and refund policy for what we do offer, which goes further than the law requires.

8. Faults and damage

You have the statutory two-year legal guarantee of conformity. If your canvas arrives damaged or the portrait is clearly wrong, contact us within 30 days with a photo and we remake and reship it free of charge.

9. Intellectual property

The portrait we create is yours to keep and display. The designs, styles, texts and images on this website remain our property and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by our own fault. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order, except where the law does not allow such a limit, including in cases of death, personal injury, fraud or intentional fault.

11. Complaints

Email murocastudio@gmail.com first and we will do our best to solve it. If we cannot reach a solution, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service free of charge: North Gate II, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, consumentenombudsdienst.be.

12. Applicable law

Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the courts of the judicial district of Limburg, division Hasselt, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring a claim before the court of your own place of residence.
